A cobbled together disco with a poor quality sound system, normally the equipment is very unreliable DJs with very little experience and a very limited music collection. The only guarantee you'll get is that your function has a high chance of being a disaster.

A complete professional mobile disco with professional nightclub style lighting, professional sound systems and huge music collections dating from the 1940's to date, including all the latest chart and club tracks. We can now also offer video dance parties as shown above. All this with a highly experienced professional DJ who knows how to create the perfect atmosphere at your function. In order to ensure that all of your guests are happy at your function we can provide request slips on the table for guests to complete with their music choices and we will play them. After all I am sure that you have probably heard or witnessed horror stories of djs who did or would not play the music that the guests liked...this does not happen with a Shokwaves Disco.
We carry a huge collection with us at all times dating from the 1940s up to date and even carry promo music for up coming releases currently approx 90,000 tracks and 15,000 karaoke tracks. It is very rare for a guest to request a song we dont have. You can also request specific tracks in advance if you prefer.
An appointment can be made to meet and have an informal chat prior to making any booking. We will be happy to
clarify any aspects of the service that you are unsure of, and to offer any advice we can to help make your event as

Your event is always your event, so any part of the service can be tailored for you, from the lighting
used and the choice of music to the volume it is played at.
We offer various packages to suit all types of budget and function. Our equipment is covered by full public liability insurance (PLI) and PAT tested annually for electrical safety. We can also arrange for various other special effects such as pyrotechnics, bubble machines, foam machines, snow machines for vert reasonable rates.
We only use professional equipment and the best quality as well as carrying backup equipment. Our lighting is state of the art similar to what can be found in nightclubs and are designed to cover an entire room is a flood of colour unlike the old fashioned boxes with coloured light bulbs that flash.
